Jet fighter

Jet fighters are the ultimate attack aircraft. Capable of picking off both aerial and terresterial targets and blessed with good speed, jet fighters are a jack of all trades, and unlike conventional aircraft are equally capable at many tasks. They need to be kept away from SAM sites where possible, however. Like vanilla RoN jet fighters, they usually carry a complement of unguided rockets, making them effective at many tasks - ground attack, light bombing, and aerial combat.

Prerequisite technologies

• Atomic Era
• Military Level 7 — Guided Munitions
• Science Level 5 — Jet Propulsion

• Fast attack aircraft capable of engaging a variety of targets.
• Deals added damage to aircraft and tanks.
• Upgrade of the fighter, but also results in an upgrading of the attack plane too.

Gloster Meteor
	Far-seeing attack aircraft which replaces other fighter-bombers, having excellent LOS. Strong against: aircraft, units, buildings Weak against: massed anti-air, especially R1 batteries.

Me262
	Fast-moving jet fighter unit, has substantially better flight and turn speed, but has a costlier pricetag than Gloster Meteor, and also replaces all fighter aircraft for Germany. Strong against: aircraft, units, buildings Weak against: massed anti-air, especially R1 batteries.

Nakajima Kikka
	Unique Japanese jet fighter unit, armed with rockets. For a jet fighter, however vastly inferior, with no rocket impact and lower range and poor turn speed, but faster development time. Strong against: aircraft, units, buildings Weak against: massed anti-air, especially R1 batteries.
